With the amount of crimes that pedestrians are subject to, it is becoming increasingly important for them to find the safest routes while walking. Crime has been high in the last few years in Champaign. This app gives community members the awareness they need to safely traverse the city. Users have the ability to choose a route that is statistically safer and better lit. The ultimate hope of this application is that more people will avoid being victim of a crime and keep them safe.
